Funny man David Vickers will once again mix it up in Llanview. Tuc Watkins, who debuted as David in 1993, will return to One Live to Live later this month. The actor's most recent short-term engagement ended in November.

The actor claims that the original resignation was the result of a hacker breaking into his Twitter account. Some fans remain skeptical, though hopeful that the actor will remain in Llanview.

A reported "insider" caused panic for soap fans at this year's Daytime Emmy Awards. The insider told anyone listening that ABC has decided to cancel One Life to Live -- and that the soap would go off the air in December. As word spread, so did reports that the insider wasn't so reliable.

In what may be a first of its kind, One Life to Live star Tika Sumpter posted a video message to fans to inform them of her decision to go to recurring status with the ABC soap. Emotional at times, Sumpter explained that the decision to change her status with the show was not easy, and thanked fans for all theire support. Sumpter joined OLTL in 2005.

Robin Christopher's time in Port Charles is coming to an end. The actress will exit General Hospital at the end of the month. Christopher rejoined the show in March. She previously appeared as Skye on All My Children, One Life to Live, and Port Charles.

Emmy-winning soap vet Kim Zimmer is headed back to One Life to Live to reprise the role of Echo DiSavoy, a role she last played nearly 30 years ago. Zimmer is best-known as Reva Shayne on Guiding Light. She's also appeared on Santa Barbara and The Doctors.

One Life to Live is again looking to bring Joey Buchanan back into the fold. The character hasn't been seen on-screen in more than three years, and an attempt last year to cast Daniel Cosgrove in the part didn't work out. Castle star Nathan Fillion was the last actor to portray Joey.

Bree Williamson and her husband are proud parents of their first child -- a baby boy. When the news of Williamson's pregnancy broke earlier this year, it was unclear how the show would address the actress' pregnancy on-screen.

It would appear the the rumors of One Life to Live's impending demise have been greatly exaggerated. The ABC soap is now confirming that One Life to Live's top two executivs, Frank Valentini and Ron Carlivati, have been offered new contracts. The news follows reports that the ABC soap is also prepping for an HD upgrade.
